IBOTA Foundation

IBOTA is an acronym for International Bridge of Technical Assistance and is a non-profit foundation, serving as a bridge between the affluent Western technological world and developing nations.

IBOTA selects, manages and funds technical projects in developing countries, contributing directly to the improvement of the welfare of the underprivileged.

One of IBOTA’s activities is developing simple and low-budget drinking water filters as a help in emergency situations. According to the objectives of IBOTA, parts and components of these filters are produced in developed nations under the supervision of professional staff.

Water, source of life
In a large part of the world people do not have access to safe and clean drinking water.
For decades diarrhoea has been the number one cause of death in developing countries. To address this urgent problem, a series of water filters has been developed by commission of the IBOTA foundation.

One of the filters is the AQUA Logic CS-Mobile. This small and handy device is especially developed for aid and relief work and when natural disasters occur. With this filter, polluted and contaminated surface water can be easily purified from organic and bacteriological pollutants.
