Filters and Rope Pumps in Vietnam

SNV's research follows Arrakis’ successful two-year demonstration programme, funded by Aqua for All. If there is sufficient market interest, a pilot with 100 rope pumps and 1000 filters will be launched.

SNV advises the national NTP2 programme that aims to provide inhabitants of rural areas with drinking water and sanitation by 2015. Water Right Foundation (Willem Stolwijk) and Arrakis (technical support Henk Holtslag) are assisting SNV with its market research.
